‍Pros & Cons (ShowMe)

Pros

Cons

  • Portable screencasting.

  • Set-Up PowerPoint slides as images to annotate on
  • One slide at a time (*EduCreations lets you prep multiple slides with background image)
• Sharing options include download (beta), embed and link
  • Small writing space - hard to capture long problems with "marker like" writing
  • Quick to create and upload
  • "Tin" sound sometimes when recording
  • Unlimited Time
  • Writing does not look as professional as I would like
  • Free
  • Beta Download option sometimes disappears

  • Strange frame around embedded video - I can get rid of it if I download to mp4 and then upload to screencast.com. (JWPlayer?)

  • Image quality of PowerPoint slide as background is diminished.
